OVERVIEW
Welcome School Child Development
Center provides care and education for children ages 3-5 in an
environment
based on Christian values. It has been a community outreach mission of
the
First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue since 1967. In 2007, the program
is
expanding to reach more families in the community. The goals of the
program
remain with the childrenÕs best interest: to provide the child with a
loving
environment to learn and grow.
GOALS AND MISSION
Welcome School continues to work
to ensure a smooth transition into Kindergarten. Daily activities
promote
growth for each child in the following areas: social/emotional,
language, physical, and cognitive.
We are committed to a high
standard of early childhood education that fosters self-awareness,
growth, and
learning in childrenÕs lives. By instilling the knowledge of GodÕs love
for
everyone, we hope to guide children to a world of opportunity.
