Music

Adult Vocal
Choir: We invite adults and teens
to share their musical talents
with us. Auditions not required. We sing at worship
services from September through June and at special services throughout
the year.

Adult Hand Bell
Choir: The choir highlights many
Sunday and special services during the year. Come learn and
"ring"
with us.

Candle & Cherub
Youth Choirs: Children in grades
K - 6 participate in singing and chime music. Part of W.O.W.
Program (September - March).
Devotional & Social
-
Adult Groups: A variety of events during the year, including our
very own "Love Dinner" and Melodrama near Valentine's Day, excursions
to local theaters, tours, and plays. Everyone is welcome!

Bible Studies:
A variety of Bible studies
are offered during the year. Our classes address personal faith
and growth, family values, social concerns, health care, and global
issues within a Christian context.

Calvin Crest:
A beautiful, restful campground on
the shores of the Platte River near Fremont, NE, with new motel-style
living quarters, Conference Center, hiking trails, and summer camp
programs for children and youth.

Church-Wide
Socials: Potlucks, ice cream
socials, weekends at Calvin Crest Conference Center in the fall and
winter, and picnics in our Oak Grove.

Fellowship
Activities: We are an active
congregation offering many opportunities for fun and fellowship.
The church calendar linked on the left lists many of these activities.

Presbyterian
Women: Four different day and
evening circles meet monthly for Bible Study at the church or in
individual homes. The monthly luncheon includes informative
speakers or activities. Activities include sewing hospital items
and clothing and providing cookies for nursing homes.

Softball Team:
The Church sponsors a team
in the Bellevue Church League. Team members are ages 16 and over.
Support

Hospital or
Homebound Visits & Funeral Support: Our Pastor, Deacons, and other volunteers care! We
train our congregation in hospital and nursing home visitations.
Our Deacons and Presbyterian Women serve meals and help in many other
ways. Monthly worship and community services are provided for
three nursing homes and care centers.

Mentoring -
Christian Friends: Adults
are matched with young people to share time and life experiences.

Stephen
Ministry: Trained, confidential
listeners care for those in the midst of life changes and challenges.

Worldwide
Mission: We financially support
the mission work of the Presbyterian Church at home and abroad.
Other

Blood Pressure Clinic: Health professionals are available for blood pressure
checks on the first Sunday of each month.

Boy Scouts:
Over 60 young men have attained the
rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 53, a very active group of
boys and leaders involved in a wide variety of high adventure, outdoor
camping, canoeing, and service projects. Please visit the Troop

Welcome
School: We provide a home for
Welcome school, founded in 1967. This preschool provides a warm,
loving, atmosphere where three- five-year old children learn about
themselves and God's world. Welcome School is Christian in
motivation, but nondenominational. Beginning in Fall 2007,
Welcome School will expand to a full-day child development center.
