Music

  • Adult Vocal Choir:  We invite adults and teens to share their musical talents with us.  Auditions not required.  We sing at worship services from September through June and at special services throughout the year.

  • Adult Hand Bell Choir:  The choir highlights many Sunday and special services during the year.  Come learn and "ring" with us.

  • Candle & Cherub Youth Choirs:  Children in grades K - 6 participate in singing and chime music.  Part of W.O.W. Program (September - March).

Devotional & Social

  • Adult Groups:  A variety of events during the year, including our very own "Love Dinner" and Melodrama near Valentine's Day, excursions to local theaters, tours, and plays.  Everyone is welcome!

  • Bible Studies:  A variety of Bible studies are offered during the year.  Our classes address personal faith and growth, family values, social concerns, health care, and global issues within a Christian context.

  • Calvin Crest:  A beautiful, restful campground on the shores of the Platte River near Fremont, NE, with new motel-style living quarters, Conference Center, hiking trails, and summer camp programs for children and youth.

  • Church-Wide Socials:  Potlucks, ice cream socials, weekends at Calvin Crest Conference Center in the fall and winter, and picnics in our Oak Grove.

  • Fellowship Activities:  We are an active congregation offering many opportunities for fun and fellowship.  The church calendar linked on the left lists many of these activities.

  • Presbyterian Women:  Four different day and evening circles meet monthly for Bible Study at the church or in individual homes.  The monthly luncheon includes informative speakers or activities.  Activities include sewing hospital items and clothing and providing cookies for nursing homes.

  • Softball Team:  The Church sponsors a team in the Bellevue Church League.  Team members are ages 16 and over.

Support

  • Hospital or Homebound Visits & Funeral Support:  Our Pastor, Deacons, and other volunteers care!  We train our congregation in hospital and nursing home visitations.  Our Deacons and Presbyterian Women serve meals and help in many other ways.  Monthly worship and community services are provided for three nursing homes and care centers.

  • Mentoring - Christian Friends:   Adults are matched with young people to share time and life experiences.

  • Stephen Ministry:  Trained, confidential listeners care for those in the midst of life changes and challenges.

  • Worldwide Mission:  We financially support the mission work of the Presbyterian Church at home and abroad.

Other

  • Blood Pressure Clinic:  Health professionals are available for blood pressure checks on the first Sunday of each month.

  • Boy Scouts:  Over 60 young men have attained the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 53, a very active group of boys and leaders involved in a wide variety of high adventure, outdoor camping, canoeing, and service projects.  Please visit the Troop 53 web site at:  http://members.cox.net/troop53-bellevue/

  • Welcome School:  We provide a home for Welcome school, founded in 1967.  This preschool provides a warm, loving, atmosphere where three- five-year old children learn about themselves and God's world.  Welcome School is Christian in motivation, but nondenominational.  Beginning in Fall 2007, Welcome School will expand to a full-day child development center.
